Clarity

Clarity: What is it?
What is it?
We're going to have you start out with a task.

Take a moment to answer these questions. They have been chosen for a reason. Nothing entered is submitted. It's purely for your own thoughts, which you will take in to the next section.

They are the same questions that you're asked all the time - by family, friends, teachers, coaches, people you don't know - and then you're often given what we call noise: unsolicited advice or guidance.
Why ask you those specific questions?
We asked the very same questions to pre-university aged student athletes all over the world.
Guess what?

Over 99% of pre-university aged student athletes struggled to answer them.
Clarity ties to awareness about the past, present, and future-and it ties to everything.
As an athlete, your whole world revolves around comparison-especially in places like the US, Russia, China, etc. This competition dictates decision-making and is fostered by family, friends, teachers, coaches, social media, television shows, movies, etc.
Why is clarity our foundational focus for this system?
How can you know what you want to achieve if you're not sure of who you really are without the influences from human and non-human sources? This is 100% the hardest part for ALL human beings: honesty and self-awareness. What's the biggest reason for your parent's struggles? Honesty and self-awareness.
The discussions are virtual and are available to all FH-PA members.
Why online discussions? Perspective. Everyone can learn something from each student athlete who participates-especially with athletes being from around the world.

How does one decide on how good they are?
How does one decide on how good they are, at anything?
What motivations drive decision-making for pre-university aged athletes? Don't they change all the time?
When it comes to the human maze, sometimes you just want to frolic around exploring the possibilities. For others, it's about getting to the end as fast as possible (and then learning where to improve in order to beat their personal bests and the bests of others).

Part C of Memberships: Choice of Adaptation
Choice of Adaptation
What makes us human is the ability to cognitively choose; to take data from our experiences and apply that to a choice. Now, when it comes to our six focuses of growth, depending on your standards, you may want some guidance-because being human is not linear; life is volatile.
