UNDERSTANDING YOUR NOISE

What's noise for you? Confusion from family, friends, teachers, coaches, and social media.

Family? Just because your parent is a lawyer doesn't mean they know the impact of bioenergetics on sport performance. Social media? You're growing up in a world of confusion. 3.5+ million videos are posted on YouTube every day. At least that's what someone's blog said when we searched online. Is that the right source? Should we check where their data came from? That's our point. There are 8+ billion people on the planet and seemingly everyone is doing whatever they can, including many health professionals, to gain followers with the goal of one thing: money. Is it wrong to pursue wealth? Not at all. That being said, when it comes to athletic performance, your health shouldn't be sacrificed for influencer wealth. We'll extend you this clarity: what do ALL D1 collegiate teams and professional teams have in common? Their athletes aren't piecing together content for plans by following any social media or their parents, teachers, or team coaches. They have a professional team, like us, in constant conversation with them. Assessing, planning, and adapting their training and nutrition plans and giving them guidance in the areas of sport psychology and injury rehabilitation.

RESPECT OF SCIENCE

As an athlete, you're a part of the most complex group of the most complex species on the planet.

Whether you're a 6 year old getting started in soccer or a high school senior poised in the blocks at the state meet-you require significantly more than sedentary people and people training for a physique.

RESPECT OF SELF & ZERO SHAME

Take a moment to think about these stats and how you've felt in your life. Guess what? These often have very easy and affordable solutions.

45% of high school athletes suffer (yes, suffer, i.e, hunger pains, blood sugar crashes, fatigue, irritability, attention span issues, etc.) from malnutrition. Think about feeling that need for energy drinks and coffee.

70% of pre-college suffer from the effects and habits related to malnutrition for 15-20 years afterward.

 

70% of athletes under the age of 13 quit sports altogether because of short-term and chronic effects from overtraining (malnutrition, fatigue in class, depression, etc.)

 

26%; the increase in knee injuries from 2006 to 2022.

100% of pre-college students and student athletes expressed to us an inability to admit and address fatigue (mental and physical), pain, and hunger because of 1) a fear of lost time 2) a belief that everything will heal on it's own 3) a fear of costs 4) a fear of being shamed by family, friends, teachers, and coaches 5) a feeling of not being worth it. (#5 is the biggest reason for adults. Think about that.)
